A summer project made with artist Dan Shadbolt at my studio in Digswell. 10 screens were made and hinged together to make two huge free-standing screens.
They were designed to take up the entire back wall of an exhibition hall for a design fair in London, their main purpose was to hide stacked up chairs!
The images painted are scaled up copies of Hogarth's 'Beer Street' and 'Gin Street'.
Me and Dan are available to work to commission and will consider any work no matter how weird it sounds.
Dan is a very talented portrait and still life artist and has a web site coming soon.

Art commissions are slowly rolling in and out as are canvas making jobs (I've never really advertised on the site that I build Stretcher frames, stretch and Prime canvas for artist, well I do, contact me for a quote).
The oil paintings Which I have have been working on for the next Nearly Orange Collective exhibition at Boxfield Gallery (Febuary 2007) are nearly finished, nearly dry and in places nearly orange. Photo's of the work coming soon on the Nearly Orange website.
